Speaker 1:

Hey everyone, sister Melissa here. I am here with a message from the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a message that is going to encourage you this morning. The message that God has laid upon my heart to relay to the entire world is this Jesus is no longer in the grave.

Speaker 2:

He, over 2,000 years ago, was resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, and His Spirit is here breathing among us to help us, to comfort us, to lead and to guide us into all truth.

Speaker 1:

I want to read from the book of John, but before I do, I just want to let everyone know I am super excited about this message because once the Lord had placed this into the core of my spirit.

Speaker 2:

He had downloaded it into my heart. I began to feel a joy, an eternal joy in knowing that the salvation that God has for those who put their trust in Jesus, making Him Lord and Savior of their lives, those are the ones that are going to obtain everything that God has for you, for me, when we go to heaven, oh, but before we will inherit everything in heaven God has for us. He lets us know that here on this earth, he wants us to understand that it's not just about getting a ticket and going to heaven. There's so much more than meets the eye. There's so much more that God wants to accomplish in and through us. But I'm here to tell you today that when Jesus calls you by name, you will know that he is Savior of the world, he is our teacher and with Him we will be able to do all things because he will give us the strength to do it.

Speaker 1:

It is 10 am, september 15th 2023, and here we go, on the book of John, chapter 20, verse 11, and the word of God says.

Speaker 2:

But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus was laying.

Speaker 1:

Then they said to her woman why are you weeping?

Speaker 2:

She said to them, because they have taken away my Lord and I do not know where they have laid Him. Now, when she had said this, she turned around and she saw Jesus standing there and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? She's supposing.

Speaker 1:

Him to be the gardener. Said to him, sir, if you have, carried Him away.

Speaker 2:

Tell me where you have laid Him and I will take Him away. Jesus said to her Mary. She turned and said to Him Ravoni, which is to say teacher. Jesus said to her do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethren and say to them I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God. Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had spoken these things to her. How wonderful is it that when we read the Scriptures, we get revelation from God to understand the Scriptures.

Speaker 2:

The Word of God says that Mary was standing outside of the tomb. And what was she doing outside of the tomb? Mary was weeping. Now why was Mary weeping if she had an understanding, when Jesus walked among the earth, that everything that Jesus spoke of had to come to pass, including the crucifixion, and if the crucifixion happened, and Jesus spoke about it, and he also said that through the crucifixion on the third day I will be risen by the power of the Holy Spirit. So why was Mary outside the tomb weeping? This is because when Mary came to the tomb, and she was outside the tomb and the door to the tomb was opened and she did not see Jesus, automatically her earthly mindset kicked in to say instead of him being resurrected, her mind, her flesh, was telling her that somebody stole the body of Jesus Christ. And for that reason, mary was weeping outside the tomb. Oh, but even though we weep, knowing the word of God, there are seasons where the things that happened to us, instead of causing us joy, will cause us to weep.

Speaker 2:

But it's okay, because the word of God says that the moment that Mary was weeping and she went into the tomb, the Bible says there was already two angels there, one at the feet and the other at the head. The only thing was Jesus was not there. And so they asked her why are you weeping? She says to them because they have taken away my Lord and I do not know where they have laid him. And the moment she said these things and she turned around, she saw Jesus standing. He was standing at the doorway and he says to her woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? And she tells him, supposing that he was the gardener, because the Bible says that even though she saw Jesus, she did not recognize him as Jesus. And for that reason, jesus calls her woman and he says why are you weeping and whom are you seeking? And because she did not know that it was Jesus, she says, sir, if you have carried him away, then I need you to tell me where you have laid him and I will take him away.

Speaker 2:

The Bible says that immediately after Mary spoke those words, jesus says Mary. And when Jesus called her not woman, not female he called her Mary. And when he called her name, instantly, automatically, she knew exactly who was in front of her. And Jesus tells her don't cling to me just yet, for I have not ascended to my father, but go to my brethren and say to them I am ascending to my father, who is your father. I am ascending to my God, who is your God.

Speaker 2:

And the Bible says that Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord. And the reason why Mary was able to run and preach Christ resurrected is not because Jesus stood there and called her woman a plain and simple woman. It's when Jesus called her by her name. Jesus is calling you by your name. And the reason why you have not been able to recognize the existence and the presence of Jesus is because you're too busy weeping. But Jesus is saying have I not told you that on the third day I would be resurrected? And because I am resurrected, your morning will turn into dancing, your weeping will turn into joy, the moment I call you by your name.

Speaker 2:

And the reason why Mary could not cling to Jesus is because this is not just, like I said before, a ticket into heaven. You know, when you recognize what Jesus has done for you, when we recognize what Jesus has done for us on the cross, we will not just want to take it into heaven. We're going to want to go to the far ends of the world and we're going to want to preach the gospel. We're going to want to preach repentance. We're going to want to preach Christ crucified, christ resurrected. We want to preach the word of God to all who will hear the message of Christ redemption.

Speaker 2:

And the reason why Mary was able to then go out and say to the disciples I have seen the Lord for my eyes is because the moment she turned around and she was willing to take the body of Christ and take him away so that she would be with him. But he said, mary, oh, hallelujah. How many times do we just want to just be in the presence of God? But just like Jesus said, mary, go and tell the world, go and tell your brothers what you have seen. That is the message of the gospel that what we have seen with our eyes and have heard with our ears and have believed with our heart is all by faith and not by sight.

Speaker 2:

So I want to encourage you this morning to know that your weeping moments are coming to an end and God is about to do the miraculous in your life. You're no longer going to be called coming. You're no longer going to be called just a woman, just a man, but Jesus is getting ready to call you by your name, hallelujah. I pray that this message has blessed your heart and has ministered forth to you. If you don't know who Jesus is, I encourage you to open your heart to him today. You can't afford to wait one more second without Jesus, because he is everything that we need. He is everything, and the reason why you are hearing this podcast this morning is because Jesus is calling you by your name. I don't know what you are facing today, but I do know that when you face it with Jesus, he will sustain you to the very end. I pray this has blessed you.

Speaker 1:

Many blessings to you all. Until the next time, keep seeking Jesus and keep speaking the name of Jesus, because it's only in his name that there is true freedom for our souls. Bye, bye for today.
